One student is chosen each Friday to be the "Star Student of the Week," based on attitude and special individual achievements. The lucky student is sent to the Principal and the Assistant Principal for special recognition.

About Me

I have been teaching in public schools for 17 years. This is my 8th year of teaching at Beauclerc Elementary School. Kindergarten is such a fun grade; I feel fortunate to be able to teach such inquisitive, energetic and excited young boys and girls. When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, stamping, and taking care of my family. My husband, Steve, and I are blessed with an amazing son, Axel. Axel is in the 4th grade this year and is in Mr. Sofferin's Class here a Beauclerc. I also have two one-year-old dachshunds, Belle and Beau, who keep me very busy at home.
